Paris Jackson has come out to strongly refute claims that she attempted to take her own life. Reports had earlier indicated that she was rushed to hospital after a suicide attempt. Apparently, Paris suffered an incident that required urgent medical treatment on Saturday morning. At the moment, she is at her home recovering and is doing okay.
TMZ revealed that EMS and police were called to her residence early morning on Saturday, and she was rushed to a local hospital and put under 5150 hold. She was released later in the afternoon and left in the care of her team.
LAPD media revealed that a 911 call was received on Saturday morning, but they could not confirm the name of the victim involved. Their statement read;
“ Today at about 7:28 in the morning, Hollywood units responded for a radio call of an ambulance attempt suicide. The victim was transferred to a local hospital.
Paris was later seen at her home smiling at 2 p.m. She was donning a blue jacket that was written “I’m Fine” on its back. After the reports came out, Paris took to social media and posted that she was not in a hospital. She termed the reports as “lies”
On Saturday afternoon, she put up a photo on her Instagram story. She was sitting in a car. She captioned;
“f**k you I’m chillen like Bob Dylan.”
She was later pictured grabbing a bit at a KFC joint with her boyfriend Gabriel Glenn.
Paris Jackson was first reported to have attempted suicide in 2013. She admitted to rolling stone that she has tried to commit suicide multiple times. That’s is why it is so easy for tabloids to pick up such stories when something happens to her or around her. It is not yet clear how true these stories are.
The alleged suicide attempt comes in the backdrop of an HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland. The documentary, that taints her father’s image, aired for the first time earlier this year at Sundance. Brands started distancing themselves with Michael Jackson after the documentary, even as Paris, and the rest of the Jackson family fight to protect the pop star’s legacy.
Paris had checked into a mental health facility earlier in the year. Apparently, she was prioritizing her mental health after a long and busy year of working around the globe.
